This page shows additional ways AI is excelling and helping, beyond mere images, video, audio and conversations. Sometimes by special made tools and AI systems dedicated to a specific task. but often also by recent upgrades to the main AI systems like ChatGPT.
Below is some examples and concepts where I feel AI shows extremely good results already or promising results for the future.
Translation & Grammar
Below is mainly focusing on ChatGPT, but I am sure similar applies to e.g. Googles Gemini or other LLM AI of the same level.
Maybe you use DeepL, Google Translate or Yahoo translate at this moment, out of old habit, for language translations, and maybe also plain Google for looking up word meanings, but I suggest you move beyond those old tools and welcome the future.
Instead, whatever translation or word understanding issue you have, go to e.g. ChatGPT and explain the problem there and get a very solid and deep explanation or strong translation. (If you feel unsure in the beginning whether the translation is good, drop it in DeepL and translate back and see how it looks just for verification and confirmation)
PROMPT: Translate this poem to Japanese and keep the sense of poetry as much as possible:
"Write me the most beautiful word you know.
In secrecy n´ silence, not high but low.
Let me guess,
No, whisper not.
For in that word I shall find thy soul.
Love it is not, too easy if I may say.
A word that says a lot, in more than one way.
Maybe honesty,
Or faith perhaps.
No, none of them may hide a soul.
A word that carry your life essence and your spiritual will,
Tenderness, warmth and the sense of chamomile.
A word of comfort.
A word of joy.
A spiritual word. No, let me guess til’ the end.
A word that listens and treat me fair.
A word that loves and care.
You embrace me…
I now see clear.
For the word, it is ‘Friend’."

**「あなたが知る、いちばん美しい言葉を書いて。

私はあなたの魂を見つけるのだから。
それは“愛”ではない、

誠実さ?

いいえ、どれも魂を隠しきれない。
あなたの人生の本質と、

公平に向き合ってくれる言葉。
愛し、思いやる言葉。
あなたが私を抱きしめる……

MY COMMENT: I do not claim it is perfect or poetic and good, but I do think it is way better than what any other non-AI system can do.

PROMPT: In Swedish there is a saying called "Ingen ko på isen". Can you explain what that means and its origin?
REPLY:
Yes 🙂
“Ingen ko på isen” is a very Swedish expression, and it’s both vivid and practical.
“Ingen ko på isen” literally means
“There is no cow on the ice.”
Figuratively, it means:
There is no danger
There is no problem (yet)
No need to worry
Everything is under control
It’s often used to calm someone down or to say that a situation is not as serious as it might seem.
Examples:
“Ta det lugnt, det är ingen ko på isen.”
→ “Relax, there’s nothing to worry about.”
“Det löser sig, ingen ko på isen.”
→ “It’ll work out, no problem.”
Sometimes people say the longer, more humorous version:
“Ingen ko på isen så länge rumpan är på land.”
(No cow on the ice as long as its rear is still on land.)
The saying comes from old rural Sweden, where cows were valuable animals and winters were long.
In the past:
Lakes and rivers often froze over
Cows wandered freely near water
A cow walking onto thin ice was a real danger
If the ice broke, the cow could drown
Losing a cow was a serious economic loss for a family
So:
A cow on the ice = immediate danger
No cow on the ice = no urgent problem
The expression reflects a very concrete, everyday risk that people genuinely worried about.
The phrase is:
Practical
Calm
Slightly humorous
Grounded in nature and daily life
It doesn’t dramatize:
Not “disaster avoided”
Just “nothing to worry about”
That fits well with a Swedish mindset of low drama, quiet reassurance.
English: “No worries”, “No harm done”, “Nothing to worry about”
German: “Alles in Ordnung”
Japanese: 大丈夫 (daijōbu)
But none are as pictorial as imagining a cow carefully not stepping onto ice 😄
MY COMMENT: This is just an example I asked for to show to you, but it is spot on correct, and I use it often for Japanese, when my Japanese native wife, cannot explain it properly.
Meshy
Meshy (https://www.meshy.ai) is an AI online tool that can generate 3D objects for 3D-projects of any type (art, games, 3D-Printing).
It does so either from text prompt description, from ordinary 2D image or from other 3D-objects.
Below I showcase how I took one of my AI-generated images of a skull and asked Meshy to turn it into a useful 3D object.
This was the original image (Generated by FLUX image AI) I gave to Meshy and asked to make into 3D
This was the 3D object generated (Wire frame mesh) after about 5 minutes.
And this is a short video that shows the rotation of the 3D skull in the Meshy Editor
