Text DailyDavar to 84576 to receive a text with the readings of the day each morning
Finding each day's readings is easy: select the Book of the Torah and this week's parsha and then locate the day of the week (Sunday - Friday). For each day you will find:
1) The text, one after the other, in the Tree of Life Version (TLV). For example, Genesis 1-2:19 • Psalm 1 • Matthew 1
2) The audio, one after the other, (without clicking another button!). For example, Listen to Passages
We are using the New International Version (NIV) audio Bible. If the reading begins or ends in the middle of a chapter the audio will begin at first verse of the chapter and end at the last verse of the chapter. You may change the reader or the version on the page provided.
3) Torah Commentary on Sefaria.com. For example, Torah Commentary on Sefaria
Sefaria is a powerful resource that provides everything from ancient rabbinic commentary and Midrash to interlinear Hebrew study. Click on the verse you would like to study and refer to the right side bar.
On Fridays we also provide a link to the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations' weekly parsha commentary which is written by different members of the Union each week. You can read or listen to the latest commentary at Union commentary on the Parsha.

The DailyDavar is built around the Jewish annual Torah reading cycle. On Simchat Torah we finish reading the Five Books of Moses and roll the scroll back to Genesis 1. Each week begins a new parsha (Torah portion) and we read through the entire Torah once again throughout the year.
Torah Reading: The first reading is from the Torah and corresponds with the parsha for a given week. In the DailyDavar, the parsha is divided into the seven sidrot. We read the first two sidrot on Sunday and then one sidra per day, Monday through Friday so that by Shabbat we will have read all seven sidrot. At the end of the Jewish year you will have read all of the Five Books of Moses (Genesis — Deuteronomy).
Prophets and Writings: The second reading is either from the Prophets (Year 1) or Writings (Year 2). The Jewish Bible is called the Tanakh which is an acronym for Torah, Neviim (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings.) In the DailyDavar we separate the Prophets and the Writings so one is read each year. After two years we will have read both!
Besorah: Your third reading is from the Besorah of Yeshua (New Testament). In the DailyDavar we read the entire Besorah from Matthew to Revelation over the course of one year.
On Fridays, as we finish reading the week's parsha, we also read the Haftarah and Besorah which correspond with the parsha. The Besorah passages are from Rabbi Dr. Mark Kinzer's Chayyei Yeshua Reading Cycle (see our Weekly Readings page for more information about this cycle).
At the end of every Jewish year, we read all of the Torah, all of either the Prophets or Writings and the entire Besorah. Every two years we read the entire Bible (and the Torah and Besorah twice!)
