Born on January 14, 2002, in Windsor, Ontario, Daiem Mohammad, the son of Bangladeshi immigrants, is a filmmaker and hip-hop journalist.
In 2004, he and his family moved to Toronto, and he was subsequently raised in Regent Park.
In the spring of 2019, he attended the Reelworld Film Festival's "Your Cellphone, Your Story" program, where he shot and edited his first short film, "225." The film was screened at the end of the program.
In 2020, he was a Youth Editor for In:Cite Journal, an academic magazine based out of the University of Toronto
In 2021 and 2022, he was a Community Media Journalist with the Focus Media Arts Centre.
From the fall of 2022 to the summer of 2024, he attended Toronto Film School's Film Production program.
In the Spring of 2023, his debut short film "Irrevocable" was selected as an honorable mention at the Student World Impact Film Festival.
