Background: Rapid increase in datalink communication costs along with Covid-19 reopening necessitated a thorough review of cost structures and usage trends to find out potential cost-saving measures
Task: Analyzed the existing rate structure and contract details, researched market prices and conditions, applied regression models to usage and cost data to expect future usage, examined the network framework, removed redundant services, and leveraged economies of scale to scale to lower unit costs
Outcome: Achieved a 29% reduction, saving over $200,000 annually

Background: Existing scheduling system* involved considerable manual work and faced issues with fairness and efficiency.
* crew rostering and scheduling system, flight operation system, and flight scheduling system
Task: Identified key problems with priority, researched various system vendors and solutions, coordinated with vendors through meetings, emails, and documents (RFI, RFP), defined the project scope, and calculated ROI and budget
Outcome: Initiated the project, integrating partial rostering and scheduling functions into the crew scheduling system
Background: The increase in flight operations required a systematic safety management method in accordance with ICAO ANNEX 19, Doc 9859 is needed as the number of flights increased.
Task: Identified requirements and conducted storyboard
Outcome: Implemented a comprehensive safety management system and obtained higher safety level at MOLIT evaluation
Background: Incheon International Airport introduced Self Bag Drop machines and planned to increase their number. My team aimed to determine the optimal number of SBDs within a critical range considering user demand and costs
Task: Collected field data, performed statistical analysis (ANOVA and t-test), used the AutoMod simulation tool to assess scenarios, and identified significant differences within the critical range, recommending the optimal number of SBD machines based on demand
