Amanda Dahlstrand

I am a postdoc at  Microsoft Research New England (Cambridge, MA), having recently been awarded a PhD  in Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). My research interests are in labor, health, and development economics.  My current research is focused on using big firm and administrative datasets to study the economic effects of new technology on work, inequality, and healthcare, often with a spatial lens.

Before joining LSE I was a pre-doctoral fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Center for International Development. I received my MA in International and Development Economics from  Yale and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford.

You can find my CV here.
