Blossom Balance

"Blossom Balance" is a strategy game that explores the delicate interplay between happiness and sadness, growth and stagnation, through the journey of a flower’s bloom. Players observe or intervene with items in NPC interactions, shaping the weather and resources vital for the flower's development. With a core message of patience and equilibrium, the game encourages experimentation, showing that both joy and sorrow are essential for growth.

CONTRIBUTIONS

• 3D modeled and UV-unwrapped the NPC model and four props

• Rigged and textured two variations of the NPC model

• Digitally sculpted flower petals and baked them onto a low-poly petal model

• Set up the environment and generated grass using Unity's Terrain tool

• Implemented all assets (mesh, textures, animation, scripts, sound) on Unity.

• Set up lighting and baked light maps for optimization

• Set up camera and post-production in Unity

• Programmed the game mechanics using ChatGPT

• Created 2D graphics in the start menu
