Welcome! I am a Teaching and Research Fellow in Economics at the University of Oxford, St Edmund Hall. My research focus is on evaluating public policies and interventions targeting the welfare and integration of displaced populations affected by conflict and climate change, especially in settings with ethno-religious diversity. I am particularly interested in examining the impact of these policies on inequalities of access to resources.
Some research projects I worked on include:
The nationwide camp closure policy across Iraq and the welfare of conflict-displaced populations
Intervention targeting the livelihoods of climate-displaced women in Mosul
Integration of conflict-displaced populations in Erbil
I received my PhD in Economics from University of London - Royal Holloway College.
In 2022 I visited Université Paris-Dauphine in France as PhD researcher.
