Welcome to my homepage. I have a PhD in Economics from the University of Rennes 1 in France. My main research interests are in environmental economics, with a focus on residential energy consumption and water consumption in agriculture. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at CESAER (INRAE - Institut Agro Dijon). I work on an optimal design and experimental test of climate mitigation schemes in the agricultural sector.

In my thesis, I addressed the so called “Rebound Effect”, an undesired result of carbon reduction policies. The rebound effect arises when the increase in efficiency of use of a resource leads to the increase of the rate of consumption of that resource, rather than the decrease. The aim of my thesis is to widen the understanding of this phenomenon and to discuss public policy instruments to cope with it.

Research interest: Climate mitigation and adaptation in agriculture, energy and residential sectors.
Keywords: Rebound effect, Energy efficiency, Energy demand, Irrigation demand, Agricultural emissions, Public policies.
