What I ended up doing is using an older version of Daemon tools (The one hosted on RocketLauncher's website) and that has solved the issue for me completely. Kept the install file on a backup HDD in case I ever needed it again ( I do this with all useful tools )

When I use DTAgent.exe is comes up with a .cda exit error when I exit the system, e.g. NEC PC Engine CD. It loads games and plays ok, but on exit it keeps saying error in Daemon tools and has a small .cda file in background with the box saying error next to it.

I just upgraded to win 10 and had the older version. I downloaded the one gigapig posted. Installed which uninstalled my old one then installed the new version 10.2. I selected free license and then unchecked the daemon tools sync offer at the end of the install that it wanted to do too. Rebooted. I use magic engine (I am like almost done with Y's book 2 on TG16CD and dont feel like typing in the long code to keep my save game, anyway I digress). I had to set the path to dtagent.exe in RLUI under the 3rdparty tab and I set the drive letter to E as there is no E drive on my computer in RLUI under the path to dtools. Launched Ys 1+2 and it wanted to install the SPTD driver so installed that and then rebooted. Tested Ys 1+2 again and it launches but doesnt autoplay anymore I had to press my run key to get it to launch the game. I believe previously the games auto launched with out hitting a key.

DAEMON tools was originally a successor of Generic SafeDisc emulator and incorporated all of its features.[10] The program claims to be able to defeat most copy protection schemes such as SafeDisc and SecuROM.[11] It is currently compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. DAEMON Tools has a special mode for proper operation of copies of discs with advanced protection (SafeDisc, SecuRom and LaserLock, CDCOPS, StarForce and Protect CD), which are used on some discs with games.[12]

Ive done some research through earlier topics, but i cant find any clear answer to this. I apologize for this if i missed something. Is Daemon tools lite a program that is necesary for Malwarebytes to work properly? Is it something that comes together when one installs Malwarebytes, and if i uninstall it,will Malwarebyes still work? One folder that i have says mbst-grab-result. What does that mean?

Anyway, I went into c:\windows\system32\drivers and di a "dir /o-d" to see the most recently installed files. I deleted st3Wolf.sys and stpd.sys. After rebotting and not blue screening, I removed all the SCSI devices from the Device Manager (right click on My Computer and click Manage, then Device manager) as well as the "PnP BIOS Extension" under System Devices.

Daemon Tools Lite has significant advantages over many similar tools. For instance, it doesn't use a proprietary container format, which makes it widely compatible and gives you more options when burning or checking disks. Daemon Tools Lite mounts most disc image types, and creates ISO, MDS/MDF, and MDX images of CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs. It also compresses disc images and enables password protection.

Daemon Tools Lite's user interface is plain and simple but with an efficient layout that is crisply rendered. The larger of two windows displays your Image Catalog; below it, a narrow window displays your added drives, starting with the first virtual drive. Daemon Tools Lite creates two types of virtual drive: DT virtual devices, which offer basic emulating capabilities, and SCSI virtual devices, which emulate discs with special signatures such as security locks. Most users will find DT virtual devices sufficient for day-to-day use. The toolbar separating the upper and lower windows contains all of Daemon Tools Lite's controls, starting with Add Image controls. We could mount and unmount images, add DT and SCSI virtual devices, remove existing virtual drives, and create disc images. A Preferences tool let us configure everything from Hotkeys to Confirmations.

The condor_credd daemon manages secure password storage. A singlerunning instance of the condor_credd within an HTCondor pool isnecessary in order to provide the feature described inExecuting Jobs as the Submitting User, where a job runs as the submitting user, instead of as a temporary user thathas strictly limited access capabilities.

A second set of configuration variables specify security for thecommunication among HTCondor daemons. These variables must be set forall machines in the pool. The following example settings are in thecomments contained in the etc\condor_config.local.credd example file. These sample settings rely on the PASSWORD method for authenticationamong daemons, including communication with the condor_credd daemon. The LOCAL_CREDD variable must becustomized to point to the machine hosting the condor_credd and theALLOW_CONFIG variable will becustomized, if needed, to refer to an administrative account that existson all HTCondor nodes.

a new, non-visible Window Station and Desktop for the job.Permissions are set so that only the account that will run the jobhas access rights to this Desktop. Any windows created by this jobare not seen by anyone; the job is run in the background. SettingUSE_VISIBLE_DESKTOP toTrue will allow the job to access the default desktop instead ofa newly created one.

On Unix, if one of the HTCondor daemons has a fault, a core file willbe created in the $(Log) directory. On Windows, a core file willalso be created, but instead of a memory dump of the process, it willbe a very short ASCII text file which describes what fault occurredand where it happened. This information can be used by the HTCondordevelopers to fix the problem. 0852c4b9a8
