Welcome!
I am a PostDoc at Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB) in Wiesbaden, Germany. I am also an associate at the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO). I obtained my PhD at Goethe University Frankfurt under supervision of Guido Friebel, within the PhD program of Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management (GSEFM). My previous position was at Goethe University Frankfurt in the department of Microeconomics and Management.
My fields of research are labor and education economics, as well as organizational and behavioral economics. In particular, my research informs policy targeted at reducing inequalities in the education system and improving the integration and well-being of refugees in Germany. More generally, I am interested in the formation of noncognitive skills and the human capital effects of policy reforms.
I have worked with administrative and survey data, firm data, and spatial data, using quasi-experimental designs, standard econometrics as well as explainable AI methods.
