Dae Jang Gum Corporation, a manufacturer of “KIMCHI , TOFU, LUMPIA WRAPPER AND PAPAYA ATCHARA” establish on November 3, 2005.

Dae Jang Gum was named after the popular Korean Historical drama “Jewel in the Palace” in 2003 and was actually based on a true story of Jang Geum which means “DAE” is “BEST” and “JANG GUM” was the name of the actress in the historical movie. Kimchi was the first product produced of our company and is broadly popular dish of fermented and super spicy of Korean side dish made of vegetables (cabbage, radish) with a variety of seasonings. In the historical movie, Jang Geum is an orphaned kitchen cook who went on to become the King's first female physician. She strives to learn the secrets of Korean cooking and medicine to cure the King of his various ailments. Dae Jang Gum Corporation is probably adapted on how Jang Geum do her best in cooking and making products.
