Panel Discussion:

Planning for a panel session is currently underway. We intend to have a discussion on (some of) these issues:

• about the potential problems and challenges the design community is facing,

• and about possible changes and strategies for the design folks, especially young researchers

• whether it is a good idea to continue doing research in DAE, despite DAE being an important field

• how to collaborate with industry experts

• tenure, grants, etc.

This panel session will start on Thursday October 21 at 11 AM Eastern Time. The panelists (in no particular order) who have kindly agreed to our invitation are:
