I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, supervised by Professor James Du. My research focuses on securing cyber-physical and IoT systems through anomaly detection, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability identification, with emerging work in LLM security.
I earned my Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology (2022), where I worked with Dr. Shahram Khazaei on hinting pseudorandom generation (H-PRG). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applications from Kharazmi University, where I ranked second nationwide in the master's entrance examination for mathematics.
My research bridges theoretical cryptography and practical security implementation, with particular emphasis on public key encryption and lightweight cryptographic techniques for resource-constrained IoT devices. I am especially interested in the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, exploring how machine learning and large language models can both strengthen and potentially compromise security systems. My strong mathematical foundation, combined with expertise in vulnerability analysis, machine learning, and LLMs, enables me to approach complex security challenges from both theoretical and applied perspectives.
