These awards recognise academic and design work that reflects my commitment to thoughtful, responsible practice. Each award has pushed me to refine my ideas, communicate them with clarity and engage with wider conversations within architecture. I see them as part of an ongoing learning process that motivates me to keep improving and contributing meaningfully to the discipline.
I received the BESCA Sustainability Prize 2025 for my Y2 final project, ReciproCity. The project explored Design for Disassembly, passive environmental strategies and modular adaptability, drawing on ideas from the 1960s Metabolism movement. This recognition reinforces my belief that sustainability should be an embedded ethos in architecture, shaping how we design, adapt and build over time.
