Sectoral Economic Data

Notes: The 20 monthly U.S. sector-level economic conditions indices at the two-digit level of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) are constructed using mixed-frequency dynamic factor models based on a small but diverse set of underlying sectoral economic indicators observed at monthly and quarterly frequencies. The indices are normalized to match the standard deviation of year-on-year U.S. GDP growth, presenting them into standard deviation units from their historical averages.
