The project was coordinated by Prof. Jerg Gutmann (UHH). The teams at the partner universities were led by Prof. Mazen Hassan (Cairo University), Prof. Rania Miniesy (BUE), and Dr. Mahmoud Anber (Aswan University).

The project activities in Germany were generally coordinated by the team in Hamburg. Project activities in Egypt were coordinated by the teams at the partner universities. Prof. Sarah Mansour (Cairo University) was in charge of the main administrative tasks regarding project activities in Egypt.
