The Board of Supervisors recently voted in support of waiving fees for small businesses during their first year. It is an effort to provide additional incentives to promote the recovery and revival of small businesses across San Francisco. Learn more about the program, here. The Storefront Vandalism Relief Grant is intended to provide support and relief for small businesses. This program offers up to $2,000 to repair damages from vandalism cases including broken windows and graffiti. Eligible businesses are asked to provide receipts, photos of damages, police report number or 311 service request number. In the case of multiple incidents, a maximum of two claims will be accepted within a one-year period between January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021. Incidents must have occurred on different dates. The Commercial Customer Assistance Program for COVID-19 Relief is accepting applications until March 31, 2022. The program is intended for small businesses and nonprofits facing financial hardships. Click here to learn more about the program.
As we strive to make our city greener and promote sustainability of natural habitat, the SFPUC, as part of a citywide initiative, is currently offering a Watershed Stewardship Grant which is intended to fund green infrastructure projects. More than 10 billion gallons of rain falls are treated as wastewater, with this program we have an opportunity as San Franciscans to take proactive actions to advancing environmental solutions. The grant is designed for commercial and residential areas. The 2022 grant cycle is open. All resources are available to applicants, here.
