It is also a symbol of defiance.
This photo is also showing resistance, it was taken back in World War 2 and shows a man refusing to salute to Hitler its shocking because there's so many people around him with a obvious different opinion so hes potentially put himself at risk for his beliefs.
This influences my work by showing the power a photograph can have with just using hand gestures.
This photo shows love, peace and comfort. The fact that they are all contributing to the love heart could mean they are good friends showing connection with just the use of hands in addition to this, you can look at this picture without having a immediate prejudiced opinion solely based on what the first view of a person. Regardless of their skin colour, body type or sex.
I will use this photo for inspiration for my work as it shows community and to not judge someone based on appearances.

My idea is to photograph a hand in the shape of a heart, it will be a male hand and took outside It will represent happiness and love.
Photoshoot
I didn't choose the first picture because it was blurry,the second was under exposed, i liked the third and fourth that were took in the studio, the last two were blurry which makes the heart with the reflection my favorite one.

Evaluation
In these images I like the organic shapes made by the hands and the reflection of the heart in the water which wasn't intentional however I think it adds to the picture. If I was to do this again I would position the reflection more in the center and could remove the harsh lines in the background. Out of the images I personally prefer the original photo because I think the blue makes it look colder and less realistic.
