The CDE standards for the arts are written to stretch students' creative abilities at all levels. The arts standards reflect creativity and rigorous cognition and require students to produce a work of art, which all students deserve to experience. The standards ask all students to stretch their thinking and participate in the creative process inherent in each arts discipline (Create, Perform/Present/Produce, Respond and Connect).

A free tool of short lessons from getting started in SmartMusic (like setting up an account, creating classes, assigning content), to exploring all features in SmartMusic. This also includes archived webinars. Please create an account to access the materials.
There are many different types of webinars available. These cover getting set up (similar to what is in SmartMusic Academy) as well as using SmartMusic in a remote setting, if applicable to your schools.
If any teachers want to attend a live webinar, our education specialists are holding free webinars every Tuesday and Thursday.
If you want to go premium, please email Andy Fox at afox@makemusic.com. You will be added to the D11 License and your school will be invoiced separately.
