Subrata completed his Class 10 from Delhi Public School Digboi, where he achieved the position of Rank 1 (Tinsukia District) with 93.4% marks (Maths: 95 and Science: 98). He also achieved the position of Rank 2 (Tinsukia District) in his Class 12 boards with 92.8% marks (Physics: 92, Maths: 95 and Chemistry: 95). Later, he received his BTech (Mechanical Engineering) degree from Tezpur Central University, one of India's top central universities. He then passed one of the nation's most difficult competitive exams, the GATE, and enrolled in the prestigious IIT Guwahati, where he earned his MTech in Mechanical engineering with an exceptional CGPA of 9.07 out of 10.
