Ecclesiastes 3:1 —
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Biblically, Nisan to Nisan functions as a full, closed year—a covenantal unit. In the 7,000-year framework, the Millennial Reign is not blended into the previous age; it is a separate, sealed 1,000-year period with its own authority, order, and beginning.
That means:
No overlap between the age of judgment and the Kingdom
No partial seasons spilling into the Millennium
No leftover fractions of time from the previous ruler
A boundary year must end cleanly before the next begins.
With four biblical seasons, each season represents 25% of the year. Because seasons are functional (not symbolic filler), each one must run its full course under a single authority.
This immediately rules out the third season as a possible point for the rapture.
Why?
If the rapture occurred in the third season:
Only 75% of the year would be complete
Authority would then transfer with 25% of the year remaining
That remaining portion would still belong to the old cycle
This produces a contradiction:
Satan’s permitted authority would begin mid-cycle
Judgment would be incomplete before reset
The Millennium would begin with residual time from the previous age
Scripture never allows this kind of temporal overlap.
A third-season rapture implies:
God ends His age before the year finishes
Satan’s authority ends before the year finishes
The Millennial Reign begins with unfinished seasonal time
That would mean:
The Kingdom inherits 25% of a corrupted cycle
A new authority begins without a full reset
A perfect 1,000-year reign starts on a fractured foundation
This contradicts both:
God’s precision in appointed times
The concept of a sealed millennial boundary
The fourth season (winter) resolves every contradiction:
100% of the year is completed
Harvest and separation are finished
Judgment occupies a closed, final span
Authority ends exactly at the boundary
The reset into Nisan begins cleanly
There is no spillover, no partial season, no leftover authority.
Winter functions as:
The end of God’s covenantal cycle
The containment period for judgment
The final season before renewal
On the macro scale:
The 6,000 years complete fully
The final phase of judgment runs its course
The 7th millennium begins untouched
Just as the weekly Sabbath does not begin until the workweek is complete, the Millennial Reign does not begin until all seasonal and yearly structure is finished.
