Outreach and Initiatives
The B Green Labs initiative has several projects that will be implemented at Boise State. The inaugural venture includes installing glove recycling bins in all General Chemistry Labs.

STEM Night at Whittier Elementary
The Cyran Lab Team particiapated in STEM Night at Whittier School. We had hands-on demonstrations for "Pollutants in the Environment".
The team is excited to return to Whittier School this spring. Keep an eye out for future events and collaborations!
Earth Day at the Mayborn Museum
To celebrate Earth Day, the Cyran Lab Group teamed up with Portal to the Public at the Mayborn Museum for a "Meet the Scientist" event. The program included demonstrations of the floating expo marker, making emulsions with soap, and how celery and crystals can transport water with food coloring. The big finale was a gloves on activity where bait bags were reused and transformed into slime!
