What you should wear?

Things to remember?

1. Baseball pants, athletic shorts or warm-up pants are acceptable. (Do not wear blue jeans)

2. In the event of cold weather, dress warm. Don’t let negative conditions cause you to have a bad workout. BE PREPARED!

3. Cleats are recommended for fielding, but not required. Flats/running shoes are recommended for running and hitting.

Do not buy new cleats unless you are very confident in your ability! No one is guaranteed a spot on the team.

1. You must turn in your checklist and parent information form in order to tryout. (See requirements on check list, physical form, emergency card, etc.)

2. *Approximately 18 players will be kept on each team.

3. Your grade level does not determine what team you will play on. Your ability and depth at certain positions will determine which team you will be assigned to play on.

4. Players will be given the same opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. Decide on your best 2 or 3 positions prior to tryouts. Players will be given ample opportunities to show ability in multiple positions, but an extremely high value is placed on the ability to hit and run.

5. Players are responsible for prearranging rides home after games and practices. Keep this in mind if transportation is a problem.
