Che-Yu Lu received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National United University (NUU), Miaoli, Taiwan, in 2011, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2018. Since 2021, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at National United University, Miaoli, Taiwan, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research interests include power electronics, DC-DC converters, power factor correction (PFC) converters, wireless power transmission (WPT), motor drive control, and DSP-based digital controllers.
From 2012 to 2013, he was an Assistant Engineer with Teradyne Inc., Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he was involved in developing semiconductor test products. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar in the Future Energy Electronics Center at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, where he focused on studying high-efficiency power converters. From 2018 to 2021, He was an Assistant Researcher with the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he was involved in developing electric propulsion systems (EPS), power distribution units (PDU), and battery management systems (BMS).
