This happens if you are using an old Cydia version (before 1.1.10) and have too many packages available from your installed sources. You will need to refresh your sources and update all relevant packages, so that you get the latest versions of Cydia and associated packages - but in order to do that, you'll first need to fix this error. The error means that you have more than 65,535 packages available from your installed sources, and your old version of Cydia cannot handle that many. Go to Manage, tap Sources, tap "Edit" at top right, and remove some sources. Make sure to keep the default repositories (BigBoss, Cydia/Telesphoreo, ModMyi, and ZodTTD/MacCiti). If some sources don't have a "remove" button when you try to remove them, that usually means they were installed as packages. Go to Manage, tap Packages, find the package with the source's name, and uninstall that package. After removing a few extra sources, you should be able to refresh data without this error.

Anytime I try to do anything regarding adding or removing a source from my cydia I get the error "Can't find a source to download version '7.6.2~beta1' of 'com.exile90.icleanerpro:iphoneos-arm'" I have tried removing icleaner and I cannot due to the error. I tried removing and then adding the repo and that did not fix it. Im lost please send help.

I haven't tried to compile the code yet (I don't trust it yet and don't have the time to examine it) but it may be as simple as running the make.sh script in the source directory. If that works, create a PKGBUILD for it with all the needed libraries in the "depends" array. Use a "git" PKGBUILD template to get started. The name of the package should probably be "cydia-git". If you get stuck, post the PKGBUILD that you have written here and someone will help you complete it.

Looking at the sources in Cydia, I see that Modmyi.com and Cydia/Telesphoreo are listed and they do contain lots of items, but Big Boss and Dev Team and cydia.zodttd.com are also listed, but when I select each then there's nothing in there.

EDIT:In case it's not clear, to install Metasploit and else you'll have to go in Cydia->Sources->iNinjasource-> and find Metasploit in the list of packets. Or you can search it Cydia->Search and type Metasploit. Once you found the packet, click on it, then click "install" and "confirm".

Once a source is added to Cydia, all the applications in that source will show up in Cydia as applications available to be added (installed) on your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can find a list of all the available sources on our Sources Page.

If your device finishes reloading data and then pops up a black screen including red and yellow errors, they usually indicate a problem with one of the repositories you have installed (or sometimes one of the packages). Cydia is still working fine, but you may want to try refreshing data again or removing the broken repository. Keep in mind that Cydia has no control over third-party repositories. Common repository (source) errors include:

"Failed to fetch": This usually happens when a source does not exist. You may have typed in the wrong URL, the source may have shut down, or the source may be broken. This is often a temporary problem, so wait a few hours and try reloading data again. If it keeps happening, look carefully at the error message to find the URL of the broken repository, and then you can choose to remove that repository by going to Sources and tapping Edit. If the source can't be removed that way, it may have been installed as a package, which means you need to uninstall that repository package.

I am using macOS 10.15.7. I have installed wget via homebrew. My goal is to install orpie via opam. opam uses wget. My installation of wget cannot find the certificates it needs. How can I resolve this problem?

Cydia users with jailbroken iOS devices may often come across the error: "Failed to fetch [...] HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found". The error message actually means that the webpage location cannot be found.

Step 5: Select the Changes tab at the bottom of screen and then hit Refresh button at the top left-hand corner to refresh Cydia sources. You should no longer see "Failed to Fetch" errors in Cydia.

NOTE:If the repo is functional, you will see a black screen with status of the source added and packages downloaded. Otherwise, if Ultrasn0w repo is down, then "cannot find" error message will pop-up on screen.

Here's a basic walkthrough to help you navigate through and get the most out of Cydia.

NOTE: This only works on jailbroken iPhone's or iPod Touch's

1. Click the Cydia icon on your Homescreen

You'll see loading while it updates the sources and loads the welcome screen.

Try respringing and reload cydia. Make sure you don't have any essential updates waiting too or any dead repos. You can find out if a repo is dead by selecting it and it will be empty. I've had a similar issue in the past on several iPads but so far not on iOS 9.3.3.

Hi,

I jailbreak my ipod touch 1G by redsn0w and installed cydia. when I am trying to install bootlace its giving me error firmware needed >= 3.1

I already have 3.1.3 installed on ipod. please help me how to get over it.

ModMyi is an archive of old Cydia sources where you can find homebrew games, themes, apps, tweaks, fonts, and other packages used by jailbreak users since the first jailbroken iOS system. Today you can use this repository if you are still using old Apple devices.

Ryley Cydia Source is a great place to find patches to bypass jailbreak detection on iOS devices. Download free tweaks from this source including Liberty, Liberty Lite, MultiPatch, RDR2Patch, SpectrePatch, and Switch Patch.

Repo created by kiiimo is one of the most updated sources where you can find tons of hacked packages including game hacks and cheats, ++ apps hacks, ad removal tweaks, and cracked jailbreak packages. Everything is updated regularly in this cracked repo for iOS 13.

First of all, do not panic. Things could be simpler than you think. Try to reboot or respring your device and find if the packages come out in the Installed Tweaks. If it doesn't work, inspect and look how numerous Cydia sources you have in your iDevice. Cydia can't display all packages if you have too numerous sources saved in your device. Try to take out few of the fresh Cydia sources and reload the list of tweaks installed. It is going to work for sure.
