Audition

How do I pick a time and day to audition?

Everyone must complete an Audition that includes Vocal and Dance

Saturday, May 17th starting at 12:00pm

Saturday, August 16th and August 23rd starting at 1:00pm

All members, returning and prospective, must complete a dance and vocal audition.

If you are enrolling in our July Summer Master Dance Class you will complete your dance audition as part of the class during the Saturday mock auditions.  There will also be a time after the class for Vocal Only auditions to be completed.

What do you need for auditions?

For the vocal audition you need to come prepared to sing Happy Birthday, My Country 'Tis of Thee, or Do Re Me (sound of music).  Also prepare 14 to 16 measures (about 1 minute) of a song.  Bring phone with working jack, or upload the URL to a karaoke track.  Broadway show tunes, ballads, or children's songs are the best to choose unless you have great musicality and rhythm.

Dance audition combination will be taught the day of the audition.

ALL AUDITIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! Make certain you have carefully completed your registration and submitted it prior to selecting an audition date.
