Determine Level of Instruction for Your Classroom

• • You may identify what Career Development topics (ex. college education, internships, or future government STEM jobs) you would like your classroom to explore that is relevant to the grade level taught (Elementary - High School)

  • Examples for Career Dev. Focus Based on Grade:

    • Elementary: Discussions on the practical/future applications of STEM skills in furthering their education/careers w/DoD STEM guest speaker

    • Middle: Host DoD STEM guest speaker to discuss opportunities (internships, programs, and scholarships) for students to engage in while in school

    • High: Host DoD STEM/NRL professional to speak about their experience with government STEM, furthering their education, college applications, & future scholarship programs/government opportunities to be mindful of!

  • Please contact: samina.mondal@nrl.navy.mil if you are interested in scheduling a guest speaker from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory or DoD STEM to accompany your class's lesson!
