The Solution

CyberQuest is a 6-week, in-person afterschool program designed to introduce students in grades 8–12 to the fundamentals of cybersecurity in a hands-on, engaging way. Each week focuses on a real-world topic—such as online safety, phishing, malware, and password protection, through interactive lessons, games, and guided labs. Students will explore how cyber threats work, how to detect and prevent them, and how to build strong digital habits. 

The program uses realistic scenarios, team-based challenges, and beginner-friendly tools to make learning fun, practical, and confidence-boosting. By the end of the course, students will walk away with foundational cybersecurity skills and a clearer understanding of how to protect themselves and others in a digital world.
