2.1 Information You Provide

• Email address — collected when you sign in via Google or email/password

• Display name — collected from your Google profile or chosen during sign-up

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• User ID — a unique identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication

• Quiz activity — quiz sessions, scores, accuracy, and XP earned

• App usage data — topics practiced, certifications studied, and progress history

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account

• Track your quiz progress and performance

• Display your ranking on the leaderboard

• Improve app features and content

• Respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3a. Advertising & Tracking

The app may request permission to track your activity across other

apps and websites to show personalized ads (iOS only). You can

allow or deny this when prompted. If denied, non-personalized ads

will be shown instead. You can change this at any time in your

device Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

CyberPrep Pro uses the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — for account sign-in and management

• Cloud Firestore (Google) — for storing user data and quiz progress

• Google Sign-In — for OAuth-based authentication

• Google Gemini AI — for AI-generated quiz questions (no personal data is sent)

• Google AdMob (Google) — for displaying advertisements within the app.

• AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, quiz history, and leaderboard entry — is permanently deleted from our systems.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app:

1. Open the app and go to Profile

2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

All your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.

7. Children's Privacy

CyberPrep Pro is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, which employs industry-standard encryption and security practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
