National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, October 2021
JaCIRT first hosted activities for the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October 2016 with visits to primary and secondary schools where presentations were made to students on the safe use of the Internet.
In 2020 events were held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Four virtual forums were held throughout the month and weekly webinars with participants from the public and private sector were held and broadcasted via our Facebook page and later provided on our YouTube page.
CyberX-JM Cybersecurity Exercise, October 2021
CyberX-JM is Jamaica's premeire cybersecurity exercise held annually during the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. CyberX-JM is our takes the form of a Capture-The-Flag competition and persons can enter as a team or individually. Participants have the opportunity to win prizes and gain exposure in the field of Cybersecurity.
