Equipment

Mimio Boards

  • Helping to maintain the boards (updates, new software, etc) and troubleshoot problems that the staff encounters while using them in the classroom.

Projectors

  • Epson

      • Set up, mounting, cabling, lamp replacement, fine adjustments, resolution matching, and dual (several projectors linked together) setup.

Chromebooks

  • Lenovo (N23, N42, 100e, 300e, 500e), and Dell 11

    • Replacing/repairing motherboards, daughter boards, screens, touchpads, keyboards, batteries, bezels, WiFi cards, and various cables.

    • Browser / OS troubleshooting

    • WiFi Troubleshooting

PC's

  • HP, Dell, and Lenovo

    • Replacing/adding RAM, configuring dual/triple monitors, re-imaging (Jeffco), set up, configuring settings and software, installing and running software, and updating using various methods.

  • Raspberry Pi

    • There is an opportunity to work on/setup a Raspberry Pi if interest is showed.

Servers

  • Server Maintenance, access, and configuration.

  • For those interested, there are many AWest websites that need to be maintained and updated.

    • Helping teachers maintain and update their AWest Splashpage.

    • Helping teachers and staff create, update, and maintain their Google Site(s).

    • Helping Leah maintain the AWest public-facing website.

Tech Support

  • Students

    • Helping other students with tech problems (usually on their Chromebook or with a Google Tool (like Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.))

  • Staff

    • Helping teachers and other AWest staff with tech problems in their classrooms / online, etc.

  • Screencastify

    • Using Screecastify to record possible ways to solve a tech problem or to give help to other students / staff.
