I'm Cyanide (or Electric, collectively), I'm a weird queer and plural UTAU producer (still a beginner) who also makes covers, voicebanks, and art! I have been working with vocal synths since 2023 (specifically OpenUTAU, but I did start out with VOCALOID4 and currently use Synthesizer V to create base SVPs for my original songs). However! I have loved them for about as long as I can remember! My first favourite vsynth character was IA and my current favourites are Denki Sai and Galvan Ize 🩵💚💛

Someday I want to collaborate with lots of people and be a real part of the vocal synth community!! I hope to be accepted and welcomed by all the wonderful producers and artists I look up to the more my creations and I grow... 🥹

9/19/2026 - note about my decreased activity

August and, so far, September, have been terrible for me, to put it lightly. Around the second week of August, my laptop crashed pretty weirdly on a restart and I thought for sure it would be broken for good-- this didn't happen, of course, because I ended up putting out a few covers last month and one at the start of this month. However, ever since, I've been extremely anxious using it, and it's only gotten worse. 

I dislike talking about my mental health in detail, but I have severe, unmedicated anxiety (and my OCD might also be a contributor). My brain's constantly telling me that even the slightest bit of lag or delay on my laptop means that I am doing something that will fuck it all up forever-- obviously, I know that's not true at heart, but it doesn't stop any kind of flight response from kicking in and forcing me off the damn thing. My point is: I don't know when I'll be back to regularly posting covers. It might be next week, it might be next year at this rate. It's been deeply upsetting to me that I've been away from my special interest hobby or whatever for this amount of time though (haven't touched OpenUTAU since I covered Debit Bit), so... hopefully, it'll be soon.

This is also another reminder that I have commissions open. I, as I have mentioned before, need to save up money for a decent PC so I can stop worrying about this so much. Currently, I don't think I'm in the state to oto or tune or mix anything, so I'm focusing strictly on art. As much as I'd like to say it any other way, and it's embarrassing to say the other half of this at all-- I'm desperate for some kind of support because I'm currently unable to work for a job, so this is quite literally all I can do to get money.

7/30/2026 - ohhhhhh I'm paradoxing my CYAN-MYK I'm paradoxing it so crazy right now

I decided it was finally time to start committing to making CYAN's PARADOX voicebank a reality, so we're starting with a (rather informal) proper release of their second, lowest pitch as well as cleaning up their oto, adding a presamp.ini so that the phonemizer naturally supports their English extras, and including brand new up-to-date art that actually reflects their current design! 

There are definitely still plans for higher pitches to be recorded and my HOPES AND DREAMS are for at some point this year, however I'm not sure when that'll be, and by then I might end up having to re-record the whole voicebank LOL. My voice still isn't deep enough for me to be satisfied with how the higher pitches sound and I absolutely refuse to edit the recordings, so we're going to do this the hard way and find a way to do some miracle voice-training.

7/12/2026 - decently-sized recent updates

Direct voicebank links have been removed from the homepage, since the Voicebanks page is now done!!! I've also done a bunch of small updates to pages such as some TOS clarification on all VB pages and a rather important disclaimer on my Archive page. Also, there are new chibis for (almost) everyone =3

I'm ALSO also putting a reminder here that my commissions for tuning, mixing, and oto.ini configuration are open and have been for a while. My laptop isn't in the best condition and I'm not sure how much longer it's going to last for, so I want to save for a PC (if this thing falls apart, I won't have anything to continue my UTAU hobby with). Commissions are my only source of income since I'm unable to get a job right now. If you have a song that needs to be tuned, a cover that needs to be mixed, or a voicebank (Japanese CV, CVVC, or VCV) that needs to be oto'ed, you should let me handle it (ゝᴗ•)★

4/4/2026 - random news time, might start doing this

I released my debut song today!!! I feel like I've come a really long way... I think I'm actually in a little bit of shock. This is fucking huge for me. I literally just achieved one of my biggest dreams.

I'm really, really overwhelmed by all the support I've received on ISWY just in the past few hours. I wish I knew how to respond to it all properly because I can't express enough at all how much it actually means to me. I was VERY afraid that no one would like it, whether it be for the lyrics being so heavy and personal, or just because the song itself was mediocre, or whatever. It's extremely comforting to know that people really enjoyed my first song ever (and some even said it resonates with them, which, to that group of you, I'm proud of you for getting through this kind of struggle, even if it's still a daily process).

I'll still focus on making covers, but I now have music production as a sidequest, so hopefully I can make something every few months or so from now on!
