Nope, all students are welcome! Anyone who is interested in learning and celebrating Asian culture is encouraged to join.
What do you do in ASA?
In ASA, we learn about the diverse cultures of Asia, attend fun meetings, volunteer at events, go to cultural festivals, and hang out at socials.
Do I have to pay fees in order to join ASA?
Yes, there’s a $25 membership fee, which covers your member shirt, food for meetings, and helps fund our events, socials, and activities.
Is this a volunteer-based club?
Although ASA provides community service opportunities, it is NOT a volunteer-based club. Ultimately, ASA is about learning and celebrating Asian culture.
How do I earn and check my points?
Members can earn points by attending meetings, volunteering, going to socials, and more. To check points, visit the Points Tracker.
Do I have to attend all meetings?
Members do not have to attend all meetings. The points requirement for attending meetings is 2 points, meaning that you only need to attend 2 meetings per semester.
