Methodology
Our project consists of two main components: Synthetic X-ray Creation and Neural Network Model.
We first explain the pipeline we implemented in order to create synthetic X-rays from a publicly-available CT-scan dataset to be used in the training of our model. For the details of this implementation, please see here.
We, then, demonstrate the overall structure of our neural network model for the prediction of the clinically-relevant 3D volumes from 2D X-ray input. For the details of our model, please see here.
