Event description

CaiOwe week is an event scheduled for August 2023 that will focus on the relationship between Cain and Owen, from Promise of Wizard/Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku.

Even though the event is supposed to be directed to the relationship in a romantic lens, any participants will be allowed to contribute with non-romantic drawings, fics, cosplay, and many, many more things! Anything related to both breathing in the same space together is enough and will be accepted.

This event is an all ages event. NSFW (R18, extremely gore-y things, et cetera) will not be accepted — however, we are very much aware that there may be NSFW references in text. Please, make sure to tag such things as "NSFW text //". Any works including graphic NSFW descriptions or illustrations and so on, will not be accepted in the event.

What kind of content will count for the week?

Anything! Art, cosplay, writing, crafts, baking sweets, even photos of nuis or merch, since you will have the option to ignore the prompts and just upload whatever you'd like. You can also make music playlists related to the prompts or freestyle, character analysis, anything you created yourself! All we want is a week to enjoy Cain and Owen content, it doesn't matter what kind of content it is.

How will we be able to view the works?

There will be a hashtag made to upload all your works! The week account will also retweet the works uploaded to the hashtag so you can be notified whenever there is a new work in the hashtag.

The hashtag will be checked at 00:00/12 am in Spanish timezone since the only mod for now is Spanish. If you post your entry later, there may be a chance the account will retweet it.

FAQ

• Do memes count for the week?

No. As much as we like memes, it wouldn't be nice if that was all there was to the week. You may, however, do meme redraws, contribute with meme templates like "my ship in 5 minutes" or writing prompts! Just don't spam the hashtag with shitposts only.

• There is a work that makes me uncomfortable in the tag...

There isn't much we can do with that since we cannot control who posts in the week hashtag. We can, however, contact said person to delete the post if you justify why you think it is harmful or that shouldn't be there.

• Can I use fanart that is not mine for my playlist/fic/etc.?

Any work that is not yours will not be retweeted from the main account and will also be asked to be removed. Do not use other people's fanart for your contributions to the week. If you do have permission to do so, then that's up to the original artist.

• I am late to today's entry streak! Can I still post it?

Of course. Please refer to our rules page to see how you should format it and upload it to the hashtag. Expect the account to be late when retweeting your piece, too.

• I don't want to upload fics to Archive of our Own. Where can I upload them then?

Privatter is a good alternative for AO3 if you want to upload something quickly instead of dealing with an AO3 account! You could also use write.as, telegraph...

• If my entry has multiple tweets...

... Please only use the hashtag in the first tweet from the thread! If you have multiple pieces to offer in a single day, post the tweets separately.
