Who We Are
Founded in 2013, CWU JEN is a collegiate chapter of the National Jazz Education Network, an education and performance nonprofit founded in 2008, and dedicated to building the jazz arts community by advancing education, promoting performance and developing new audiences.
What We Do
The purpose of the Jazz Education Network is to enrich and uplift jazz education at Central Washington University. We are committed to expanding access and inclusivity in the jazz idiom by conducting programs and activities that produce more informed teachers and musicians.
Diversity Statement
The Jazz Education Network (JEN) Club of Central Washington aims to provide a safe space for all races, genders, and sexualities to explore their love of jazz music and jazz education. Any student, faculty member, club, business, persons, etc., affiliated with the JEN Club are expected to fully uphold and execute this ideal.
