Assistant Professor - CHABSS Psychology Department

Dr. Rosas earned his PhD in Psychology, with a concentration in Community and Prevention Research, from the University of Illinois Chicago. Prior to joining CSUSM, Dr. Rosas completed postdoctoral fellowships at UC San Diego, SDSU, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. 

Major: Social Sciences Psychology, Minoring in Sociology and Communications

Expected Grad Year: Fall 2026

Kelly is working towards completing her BA in Social Sciences Psychology. She plans to obtain her PhD in Counseling Psychology to then become a Psychologist.  Her research interests include Latinx Well-Being and Health, interpersonal dynamics in college student relationships, and Latinx pipeline to higher education.
