All degrees earned through Christian World College of Theology do not require a General Education component and therefore do not have an "Arts" nomenclature.
Associate of Ministry
60 Credit Hours
The Associate in Ministry degree is a 60 credit hour undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study, typically lasting two years. It is a level of qualification between a high school diploma or GED and a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate degree is required before one may study for the more advanced, Bachelor of Ministry degree.
The class schedule is distributed at the beginning of each class year. Each 2-hour session is held every Monday from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm from September to May with a short Winter Break. In addition to lectures, there are required reading assignments, Bible study, and exams.
This program provides a solid foundation of Biblical study for preparation in ministry.
Examples of courses include: Genesis, Doctrine of Scriptures, Evangelism, Theology, Christology, Ecclesiology, Pneumatology, The Gospels, Foundational Prayer, Eschatology, Angelology, Spiritual Leadership, The Anointing, The Tabernacle of Moses, History of Israel, Intertestamental Period, Ministry of the Prophets, Commands to Servants, Modern Ministry Tools, Acts of the Apostles, Challenge of Religions, Pauline Epistles, General Epistles, Our Armor for Battle, Building A Team, and Spiritual Gifts. Courses subject to change.
Bachelor of Ministry
66 Credit Hours
The Bachelor in Ministry degree is a 66 credit-hour undergraduate degree. A Bachelor degree is required before one may study for the more advanced, post-graduate Master's Degree. In addition to lectures, there are required reading and writing assignments as well as exams.
Class Sessions are generally held one Saturday a month from September through June. The class schedule is distributed at the beginning of each class year. Sessions meet from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Additionally, a Major Ministry Project is required to meet graduation requirements.
Example of courses include: Biblical Leadership, Life of Christ, Biblical Ethics, Acts, Church History, Poetical Books, New Testament Synopsis, Hermeneutics, Marriage and Family, The Tabernacle, Biblically-Based Church Missions, Galatians, Small Groups, Romans, Homiletics, Pastoral Counseling, Prison Epistles, First Corinthians, Theology, and Administration Principles. Master of Ministry
36 Credit Hours
The Master in Ministry degree is a post-graduate creditial awarded upon completion of a course of study demonstrating mastery or advanced expertise in a specific field of study.
Our Masters level is offered online ONLY and is self-paced in nature. While designed to complete 5 courses per year and completing the program within two years, you can work at your own pace and complete the program on your own timeline.
Additionally, a Major Ministry Project is required to meet graduation requirements.
Example of courses include: Spiritual Formation, Church Foundation, New Testament Introduction, Christ-Centered Counseling, Ministry Management, Advanced Theology- Christology, Introduction to the Old Testament, Theology of the Holy Spirit, Apologetics, and Christian Leadership.
