Loan Book is a loan tracking application designed to help users manage their personal loans. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. 

1. Information We Collect 

a. Local Device Storage 

Our app stores your loan-related data only on your device unless you choose to back it up.
This data includes:

• Name

• Phone number

• Loan amount

• Loan date and due date

• Loan notes

• Any other loan details you manually enter

This information never leaves your device unless you use the backup feature. 

b. Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication) 

1. We use the collected information only for:

   1. Providing core loan tracking features

   2. Saving your data in local storage

   3. Allowing you to back up and restore your data

   4. Managing premium plans or subscriptions

   5. Improving app functionality and stability
      
      

2. We do NOT:

   1. Sell your data

   2. Share your data with third parties for marketing

   3. Use your data for targeted advertising

3. Data Sharing 

We may share information only in the following cases:

• With Firebase (Google) — for authentication and optional cloud backup
  
  No other third parties receive your data.

4. Data Security 

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

• Firebase secure authentication

• Encrypted and secure cloud storage (if you choose backup)

• Local storage inside your device (not accessible by us)

5. Your Choices & Rights 

You can:

• Use the app fully without creating an account

• Enable or disable cloud backup at any time

• Request deletion of your data stored on Firebase

7. Changes to This Policy 

We may update this policy occasionally. Updates will be posted in the app or in the Google Play listing.
