Everything you need to book rides, claim passengers, and help grow Cycling Without Age Johnson County.
Ride Booking
We're excited to launch our new online ride booking system! As we've grown our team of certified pilots, we're opening more ride opportunities for the community while making scheduling easier for everyone.
Passengers can book rides through our website:
Cycling Without Age Johnson County website
icbikelibrary.org/cycling-without-age
Or book directly:
cwajc.setmore.com/ride
The Details link on the booking page includes important information about our trishaws, including weight limits and other rider information.
Passengers currently request either the Trio or Nihola trishaw in the booking notes. Those notes are visible in the Google Ride Calendar appointment.
The online booking system is configured with the following settings:
Ride times are available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the last ride beginning at 6 p.m.
Standard ride length is 45 minutes.
Pilots may extend a ride by editing the appointment in the Google calendar if additional time is available.
A 30-minute buffer is automatically scheduled between rides to allow time for a safety check and prevent scheduling conflicts.
Rides must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
Riders can book up to 2 months ahead.
Riders may cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before their ride.
Confirmation emails include our contact information:
Phone: 319-383-0790
Cancellations automatically update the shared Google Ride Calendar.
Online bookings appear on the shared Google Ride Calendar with a title similar to:
Jane Smith from Ashton
When you open the appointment, you'll find the passenger's email address and phone number under Appointment Details.
To claim a ride:
Edit the appointment title to include your first name.
Example: Jane Smith from Ashton (Pilot Connie)
Email the passenger to introduce yourself.
Include your cell phone number and invite them to contact you with any questions before the ride.
The Ride Calendar requires a Gmail account.
If you don't have access, email michellevoss.ic@gmail.com from your Gmail account to request access.
One of the best ways to grow the program is to invite your own friends, family, neighbors, and community members to experience a ride.
Please:
Share the public booking link with your network.
Feel free to book rides on behalf of someone if they're not comfortable booking online.
Encourage passengers to book through the system whenever possible.
Using the online scheduler helps us:
Build a contact list for future ride invitations
Collect ride reviews and testimonials
Simplify scheduling and communication
Need bike specifications?
The About Our Bikes section on the Pilot Dashboard includes weight limits, dimensions, and other rider information.

When volunteering for a scheduled program or event:
Add your first name to the appointment title.
Include the bike name (Trio or Nihola) if applicable.
If an event requires more than two pilots, it will be noted in the appointment title.
Please ask every passenger to include their email address on the waiver.
After the ride:
Take a photo of the completed waiver.
Upload it using the Signed Waivers link on the Pilot Dashboard.
On most phones, you can simply choose Add Photo or Upload Image.
If you have trouble uploading a waiver, email michellevoss.ic@gmail.com. We're still refining this process and appreciate your feedback.
Photos help us tell the story of Cycling Without Age Johnson County and inspire others to volunteer or book a ride.
With the passenger's permission:
Take photos during the ride.
Upload them to the Google Photo Album linked on the Pilot Dashboard.
Whenever possible, capture smiles, conversations, and scenic moments that reflect the joy of the experience.
Thank you for helping us create memorable rides while growing our Cycling Without Age Johnson County community.
