Practical session

The lab will be in Python and requires some basic knowledge of Numpy (you can go through these tutorials if you are unfamiliar with it).

We would like you to write a report on the lab session in groups of 1 to 3 students.

Export a pdf or html from the jupyter notebook, with your answers to the questions. We expect that you go beyond the lab's questions and that you develop certain aspects of your work, depending on your personal interests and skills, for instance:

    • Implementations and numerical tests (further developments, more experiments, etc.)
    • Applications in learning or statistics (interpretation of some results, other models, other datasets, etc.)
    • Theoretical or mathematical questions (convergence proofs, convergence rates, advanced versions of an algorithm, theoretical analysis of special cases, etc.)
  • Due date: Wednesday, January 8, 2019 (before midnight).
  • Send to: cdo.grenoble@gmail.com

  • Session 1: Monday, December 9, 2019 / E301 (and E101 if needed)
  • Session 2: Monday, January 6, 2020 / E301 (and E212 if needed)
