CV Styler: Resume Builder ("CV Styler," "the App") is provided by AJ-Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, stores, and transmits, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
CV Styler does not require an account.
Resume content and profile photos are stored and processed locally on your device.
We do not upload your resume content, profile photo, or exported PDF files to our servers.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services collect limited app-usage, device, identifier, approximate-location, and diagnostic information.
We do not sell your personal information.
The current version of the App does not display advertising and does not include subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
You may enter information used to create a resume or CV, including:
Name, job title, and professional summary
Email address, phone number, address, and professional links
Education, work experience, skills, projects, certifications, and languages
Awards, publications, volunteering, interests, references, and custom sections
Template, layout, font, color, spacing, and export preferences
This information is stored in the App's local database on your device. We do not transmit the contents of your resume to Firebase or to an AJ-Labs server.
You may optionally select a photo from your device or take a photo using the camera. The App processes and crops the photo locally and stores a temporary app-accessible copy on your device. Photos are not uploaded to us or to Firebase.
If you contact us at ajlabs.support@gmail.com, we receive the information you choose to include in your email, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.
Our support mailbox is provided by Google Gmail. Google may process support communications as our email service provider under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Firebase Analytics may automatically collect:
App interactions, sessions, screen views, and app lifecycle events
App version and device or operating-system information
A Firebase app-instance ID and Firebase installation ID
Approximate location derived by Google from a masked IP address
General acquisition information, such as the app store that installed the App
Advertising ID collection and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the current ad-free version of CV Styler.
The App also sends limited product events, such as a resume being created; a template, palette, or layout type being selected; a custom template being applied; a PDF export succeeding or failing; and the type of export destination.
These events do not include your name, contact details, resume text, filenames, profile photo, or PDF contents.
Firebase libraries included with Analytics and Crashlytics may automatically collect:
A per-installation Firebase installation ID
App and SDK metadata, including package name, app version, Firebase SDK versions, and operating-system information
Device metadata, including manufacturer and model
Network connection type
Session information, such as when the App enters the foreground and begins a new session
The app store or other source that installed the App
Firebase uses this information to operate its services and provide analytics, crash, and app-quality measurements. The App does not associate these identifiers with your name, email address, or resume content.
Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash reports, stack traces, non-fatal errors, relevant app state, device and app metadata, Crashlytics installation identifiers, and Analytics breadcrumb events associated with a crash.
CV Styler does not intentionally attach resume text, contact details, filenames, profile photos, or user identifiers to Crashlytics reports.
Google processes Firebase data according to its own terms and privacy policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy and security documentation.
Provide resume creation, editing, preview, saving, and PDF export features
Remember your selected app theme and local preferences
Understand which general features are used
Diagnose crashes and export failures
Maintain, secure, and improve the App
Respond to support requests
Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your resume content or profile photo for advertising, profiling, or model training.
Camera: to take an optional profile photo
System photo picker access: to let you select one optional profile photo without giving the App broad access to your photo library
Storage access on older Android versions: to save exported PDF files
Internet access: to send Analytics and Crashlytics information and open external links
You may skip photo selection or deny camera access and continue using the App without a profile photo. Camera permission can be changed in Android Settings.
Resume records are stored locally in the App's private database. Profile-photo working files may be stored in the App's temporary cache. Your device's Android or Google backup service may process eligible app-internal files if device backup is enabled. The App does not use its own cloud-backup server.
When you save a PDF to Downloads or another user-selected location, the file remains there until you delete it. The App may also create temporary or app-specific PDF files for previewing and sharing; Android may remove these files automatically, and clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App removes app-specific files.
If you choose to share a PDF, Android sends it to the app or service you select. The receiving app or service handles that file under its own privacy policy.
We do not control files after you export or share them.
We may disclose limited information:
To Google Firebase: for analytics, installation measurement, crash reporting, and service operation
To Google Gmail: when you voluntarily email our support address
To Android or Google backup services: for eligible app-internal files when device backup is enabled
At your direction: when you export or share a PDF using another app or service
For legal reasons: when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request
To protect rights and safety: when reasonably necessary to detect fraud, address security issues, or protect users, the public, or our legal rights
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share resume content or profile photos with advertisers.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Resume data is stored in app-private local storage. Firebase states that Analytics data is encrypted in transit, and communications with Firebase use encrypted connections.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your device and any exported or shared PDF files.
Resume information remains on your device until you delete an individual resume or draft, use Settings > Clear All Data, clear the App's storage through Android Settings, or uninstall the App.
When you remove or replace a profile photo, the App stops using that photo for the edited resume. Your original gallery photo is never deleted. An app-managed cached copy may remain until Android clears the cache, you clear the App's storage, or the App is uninstalled. Settings > Clear All Data removes CV Styler's app-managed profile-photo cache.
PDFs saved to public Downloads or another user-selected storage provider are not deleted when you clear the App's data. Delete those files separately using your device's file manager or the service where you saved them. Temporary and app-specific PDFs may be removed automatically, when App storage is cleared, or when the App is uninstalled.
Google Analytics user-level and event-level information is retained according to the retention setting configured for our Firebase Analytics property. Google currently provides standard retention settings of 2 or 14 months; aggregated reporting data may be retained for longer under Google's applicable practices.
Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems.
The App does not create user accounts and does not associate Firebase identifiers with your name or email address. Because Firebase data is pseudonymous, we may not be able to identify a particular Analytics or Crashlytics record as belonging to you.
Support correspondence may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
For a privacy or deletion inquiry, contact ajlabs.support@gmail.com.

CV Styler is intended for job seekers and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact ajlabs.support@gmail.com.
Google may process Firebase information on servers located in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Google describes its data-transfer and protection practices in its own privacy and Firebase documentation.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its data practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date and publish the revised policy at the same public URL. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the Google Play listing when appropriate.
If advertising, subscriptions, new third-party SDKs, cloud storage, accounts, or other data practices are added later, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration must be updated before those changes are released.
