For free or reduced-cost counseling or other resources in your community, try TWLOHA's Find Help tool. Resources can be sorted by category (e.g. addiction, trauma, LGBTQIA+, and more) and level of care (e.g. counseling, support groups, residential treatment, and more).
If you want to reach out for help, but don't know how to have that initiating conversation, check out TWLOHA's How to Have the Conversation worksheet. Other worksheets on topics such as starting counseling, starting medication, navigating anxiety, and more are available here.
If you're worried about someone else and don't know what to do, check out these guides from Samaritans. Note: Samaritans is a UK-based charity. In the US, the emergency number is 911, and the crisis lifeline number is 988.
