Chittenden Fire Station
Ye ol' Utility-43 (1984 Chevy K30) has been retired and is up for sale! (Check our Facebook page for details if you are interested).
It has been replaced with a new... to us... 2006 Ford F-450 Brush Truck acquired from the Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department! Check out the "Trucks" tab on this website for more information!
The Chittenden Volunteer Fire Department has served the Town of Chittenden and the surrounding area since 1957. The all-volunteer department responds to various types of calls including chimney fires, forest fires, motor vehicle accidents, and mutual aid to assist in other towns. The First Response branch of the Fire Department is tasked with responding to medical calls and providing aid before the arrival of an ambulance.
The firehouse is located in the same place it's always been, at 266 Chittenden Road in Chittenden, Vermont. (See map below)
