In order to volunteer you must have your clearances updated with in the last 5 years. Clearances needed are listed below with links and information on how to obtain them:

Parent Expectation Agreement + Social Media Policy
New for the 25/26 School Year we are asking all volunteers to sign an expectation agreement and social media policy before volunteering in person at any event. You will only need to sign this once during the school year, and you will sign this in person in the front office. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to pto@cvk12.org.

PARENTS ARE LIFESAVERS
What is it?
It is a parent or guardian agreeing to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours per school year to the PTO. These 3 hours can be made up any way, any time, during the school year doing PTO requested activities such as copying at the school, volunteering at PTO sponsored activities, chairing a fundraiser, etc. You are volunteering your time - when you are available to do it.
All volunteers who complete 3 hours of volunteering will be entered in to win an end of the year gift donated by the PTO officers. Your name will be entered into the raffle for every 3 hours you volunteer. (Ex: if you volunteer 12 hours, your name will be entered 4 times.) The raffle will take place right after the last event of the year. You do not need to be present to win.
Don’t have the ability to donate 3 hours throughout the year?
No worries! We still need and want your help. Everyone that volunteers any amount of time will be entered into quarterly drawing prize donated by the PTO officers. The quarterly drawing will be a live drawing at the November and February Monthly PTO meeting and the last quarter drawing will take place live after the last event of the year.

November Drawing - will encompass all volunteers from the start of the school year until the day of the November PTO Meeting.
February Drawing – will encompass all volunteers from the day after the November PTO meeting until the day of the February PTO Meeting.
May Drawing – will encompass all volunteers from the day after the February PTO meeting until the day of and including the end of the year Fun + Field Day!

Why? Because the PTO officers want to thank our volunteers and show how much we appreciate all that you do. Without the help of our volunteers, the PTO would not be able to do awesome things for our students; the PTO would NOT exist!
How do I sign up? Submit your clearances (if you have not already), and sign up for the opportunities to volunteer. When you volunteer, there will be a sign in/tracking sheet.
My availability changed; I can’t be a P.A.L.S. member anymore. No worries, you are not required to do complete any volunteering. You name will be entered into the appropriate raffle for time served up to the point of the drawing.
