Thank you for choosing CV craft. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data CV craft accesses, how it uses that data, and how it is managed.
CV craft is a local-first application designed for resume creation. All data you create is stored only on your device in a private, secure database.
We, the developer, do not collect, transmit, or upload this data to any server. This data includes:
Identifiers (Local Use Only): Name, Email, Phone, Address, and Job Title.
Resume Content: Your work experience, education history, project details, and skills.
Sensitive Data (Local Use Only): Profile Photos and Signature images you attach to your resume.
Your app settings (like theme preference or template selection).
The app does not require login or account registration. All user-provided data is stored locally.
CV craft displays ads using our third-party partner, Google AdMob, and uses Google Firebase Analytics to maintain and improve the app.
AdMob Data Collection
AdMob may collect certain technical and usage data to serve, measure, and improve advertising. This data is shared with Google. This may include:
Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID), IP Address, Device model.
Ad Interactions: Views, clicks, and impressions.
Crash and Diagnostics: Collected by the AdMob SDK to ensure stability.
Firebase Analytics Data Collection
Firebase Analytics collects usage data (e.g., app launch, screen views, session duration) to help us understand how people use our app. This data is used solely to improve the user experience, fix bugs, and optimize app performance. This data is shared with Google.

Our app requests certain permissions to work properly:
Internet Access: This permission is required by Google AdMob and Firebase to load advertisements, send analytical data, and check app stability.
The app uses the Android Photo Picker system and only gets access to the photo you explicitly choose.
The app does not require Camera or Storage permissions.
All photos remain stored locally on your device only for inclusion in the resume document.
We never upload, transmit, or share your photos or images with any server or third-party service.
Data in Transit (Encryption): All data transmitted to third parties (AdMob/Firebase) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/SSL).
Zero Server Retention: We do not run any external servers or collect/store any of your resume content.
This app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When updates occur, the "Effective Date" will change. We encourage users to review this page occasionally to stay informed about changes.
