I am a Horizon Fellow and Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at the University of Sydney.
My research investigates how corporate resources can be mobilized for the common good, focusing on corporate philanthropy issues, the international M&A market, and board gender issues. My work has been published in the Journal of Finance, Review of Finance, and Journal of International Business Studies and was featured in the Australian Financial Review. I have been awarded a Sydney Horizon fellowship ($250,000) and an ARC DECRA grant ($366,666) to investigate the drivers and consequences of corporate giving.
