Throughout the process of learning and working with different type of dances, the idea for my final product has becoming more refined and sophisticated. At first, my intention was set on performing a popping choreography, but after experimenting, my interest in emotional and fluid contemporary has been growing. Fluidity and inner charisma has always been one of my biggest advantage in dancing. By noticing and knowing my strength, I decided to do a dance cover of a contemporary dance.
a, Which choreography I should learn for the final product?
Choosing the choreography for the final product
Before settling on a choreography for the final product, I begin to listed out some criteria and song options that I have in mind. Some of the criteria that I listed out requires the choreography to involve a lot of emotions and strength [To improve my stamina]. I also wanted the choreography that have complex movements but not too complicated and beginner-friendly since it will suits may ability better. While looking for the perfect choreography, I have taken three songs into consideration [When the party's over; Heather & Before you go]. After considering all aspects and try out some of the highlight movements of each choreography, I've decided to settle on the choreography for "Before you go - Lewis Capaldi" by Soo.
Final Choreography for final product
The reason that I chose this choreography to be my final product is because of its simplicity. The choreographer have been able to capture and demonstrated the emotions of the song perfectly. Even though the movements are not too complicated and appealing to the audience's eyes, it is enough to practice different techniques and to apply various emotions into the song.

b, How I learn the chosen choreography?
c, How I set-up to film?
Fortunately, I have no trouble setting up the filming equipments. I add some more lightning to the scene and use my phone to film the video. However, before filming I have to test the camera with several angles to see which will work the best.
Since the choreography is based on an emotional song, I wanted to make sure not only does my dancing but also the lightning set up could fully capture the emotions of the song. in order to do this, I set up 2 source of lights [one is not bright enough], both of them are yellow lights. Apart from the lights, I also turned off all the white lights in the room to create a dark and heavy atmosphere.
