Call for Papers

All submissions will be handled electronically via CMT at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CV4Metaverse2024.

The format for paper submission is the same as the ECCV 2024 main conference. For details, please refer to the ECCV 2024 Submission Policies.

Workshop Papers

CV4Metaverse 2024 paper reviewing will be double-blindCitation of any of the co-authors’ published work must be done in the third person. Reference to unpublished work can be made by anonymizing it, including it as supplementary material, and referencing it as Anonymous.

Each submitted paper will be revised by three expert reviewers.

All accepted contributed papers will appear in the ECCV2024 workshops proceedings.

Page limit

The paper length should match that intended for final publication. Papers are limited to 14 pages (excluding references), including figures and tables. Additional pages may only contain cited references.

Template

Please download the ECCV 2024 Author Kit (see ECCV 2024 Submission Policy) for detailed formatting instructions. Note also that the template has changed since ECCV 2022. Authors must thus use this new template instead of templates from older conferences. While there is no limit to the number of references, reviewers are instructed to check for pertinence.

Additional materials

Authors may optionally submit additional material that could not be included in the main paper due to constraints of format (e.g., a video), space (e.g., a proof of a theorem or an extra figure or table) or anonymity.

Papers that are not blind, do not use the template, or have more than 14 pages (excluding references) will be rejected without review.

Extended Abstracts

Authors may submit extended abstracts describing published or ongoing works.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be given the possibility to present their work during the workshop.

The abstract will not be published in the workshop proceedings. The accepted abstracts will be published online on the workshop website upon consensus agreement provided by the authors.

Page limit

Extended abstracts should be at least 2 pages and at most 4 pages long, including references.

Template

The extended abstract papers will use the same template as the other workshop papers, see ECCV 2024 Author Kit (see ECCV 2024 Submission Policy).

Challenge system description papers

Participants to the Metaverse Apartment Retrieval Challenge will submit a final report with their proposed system description. Each submitted paper will be revised by two reviewers.

All accepted system description papers will appear in the ECCV2024 workshops proceedings.

Page limit

System description papers should be 2-4 pages long, excluding references.

Template

The system description papers will use the same template as the other workshop papers, see ECCV 2024 Author Kit (see ECCV 2024 Submission Policy).

Attendance

Each paper must have at least one registered author (in-person workshops/tutorials passport with student fee if applicable).

Virtual registrations will not cover a paper submission. If circumstances prevent you from attending in person to present your paper, you may attend virtually but you must register and pay for your paper under an in-person registration.

Additional registration info can be found at the official ECCV 2024 Registration page.
