Grade-level Coaches
Grade-level Coaches
You will coach one of the following grade level groups:
Kindergarten Coach
1st & 2nd grade Coach
3rd & 4th grade Coach
5th & 6th grade Coach
Grade level coaches will choose their grade level group and stay with this group for the entirety of every practice. You will help your grade level(s) check in, check out, warm up, and travel to/ from each of the 4 event stations.
Event Coaches
Event Coaches
You will coach one of the following event groups:
Sprints (short distances- 50m, 100m, 200m, etc.)
Distance (long distances- 400m, 800m, etc.)
Jumps (banana hurdles, long jump, broad jump, vertical jump)
Throws (dodgeballs for 'shot put,' frisbees for 'discus')
Event coaches will stay at their designated event station for the entirety of every practice. You will coach each grade level group and demonstrate/ teach the activity to the student athletes.
